Pantheon Data (a Kenific Holding company) is a private, small business based in the Washington, DC, area. Pantheon Data was founded in 2011, initially providing acquisition and supply chain management services to the US Coast Guard. Our service offerings have grown in the past ten years, including infrastructure resiliency, contact center operations, information technology, software engineering, program management, strategic communications, engineering, and cybersecurity. We have also grown our customer base to include commercial clients. The company has used this experience to expand our service offerings to other agencies within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Defense (DoD), and other Federal Civilian Agencies.

Position Overview

Pantheon Data is seeking a temporary full-time, experienced Technical Recruiter- Coast Guard with a strong background in recruiting for Coast Guard government contracts. This individual will be responsible for attaining hiring goals by filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates across a wide range of technical and mission-critical roles, particularly in support of U.S. Coast Guard operations, maritime engineering, and related federal programs. The Technical Recruiter is accountable for the full life cycle of the recruiting process. This includes creating job descriptions and salary requirements, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, and facilitating offers and employment negotiations-all while ensuring candidates have a positive and professional experience.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience recruiting for maritime programs, military or civilian Coast Guard positions, naval engineering roles, or aviation SMEs within the defense contracting space. The Technical Recruiter will proactively engage with HR and operational leaders as an SME on talent acquisition, policies, processes, and compliance; foster a strong customer service orientation; provide leadership; and work collaboratively and independently at all levels of the organization.

Primary Responsibilities



  • Must have experience with full-cycle technical recruiting in a federal government contracting environment, particularly engineering, aviation, and maritime support roles.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong negotiation and influencing capabilities.
  • Proven ability to source and evaluate technical candidates for roles that require military experience, professional certifications, or security clearances.
  • Strong track record of recruiting success across engineering disciplines and specialized government/military roles.
  • Knowledge of DoD, DHS, and Coast Guard organizational structures and clearance processes.
  • Solid understanding of OFCCP, EEO, Affirmative Action guidelines, and federal hiring regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and applicant-tracking systems (e.g., iSolved, Greenhouse, Workday).
  • Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies or systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational agility, and problem-solving capability.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

  • Ability to understand job requirements and effective identify qualified technical candidates and evaluate prior to presenting to the Business Unit Leader.
  • Must have a proven track record of developing and executing recruiting strategies.
  • Must have a firm grasp of advanced recruiting and sourcing techniques, an ability to improvise, well-developed influencing skills, and a team-player mentality.
  • Must have a strong comprehension of OFCCP, EEO, and Affirmative Action regulations and guidelines and know a range of employment laws.
  • Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Must have the ability to comprehend and explain talent acquisition policies and procedures.
  • Must be capable of delivering successful solutions to problems that require creativity, innovation, and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Must be able to utilize benchmarking and trending resources to support leaders in effectively determining staffing needs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong math skills are required.
  • Good organizational skills are required.


Education/Experience Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field-or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring lifecycle.
  • At least 5 years of experience recruiting technical and/or military-related positions in a federal government contracting or defense environment.
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting for engineering, aviation, and military specialty roles, including those requiring security clearances.
  • Proficient with web-based sourcing tools, job boards, and social media platforms.
  • Skilled in cold-calling and passive candidate engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct in-depth job requirement assessments and confidently present qualified candidates to hiring manager or business unit leader.
  • Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.


Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Work Location: Hybrid (Leesburg, VA) or Remote

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
