The Team Our Technical Validation team within Sales Velocity consists of Solutions Consultants, Data Architects and technologists who help the field organization with pre-sales solution positioning and evaluation. Within Technical Pre-Sales, we deliver visionary engagements through close collaboration and alignment with Adobe's broader ecosystem of sellers, support teams, services, product and more. By developing Proofs of Concepts (POC), Hands-on Labs (HOL), Customized Demos and other experiences, we help build customer confidence in Adobe Experience Cloud's outstanding capabilities to secure the technical win for our sales teams! The Opportunity As a Senior Solution Consultant on the Tech Val team, you will conduct engaging customer experiences showcasing how Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and the applications built natively on top of it can accomplish their marketing needs. In this pre-sales role, you will gain deep product knowledge to recommend technical and strategic approaches across both B2C and B2B industries. This collaborative discovery process often leads to Custom Demo development and/or limited deployments of technology in a POC and/or customer bootcamp/HOL style workshop to demonstrate value and achieve technical validation! What you'll do
- Deliver inspiring engagements that showcase key features and capabilities of Adobe Experience Platform and its native applications (Real-Time Customer Data Platform, Customer Journey Analytics, Journey Optimizer, Mix Modeler)
- Continuously learn and improve pre-sales offerings, recommending impactful solutions aligned with customer needs and product evolution
- Gather and translate client requirements into actionable solutions and use-cases within the platform
- For HOLs, collaborate closely with sellers, solutions consultants and teammates on technical & strategic preparation, delivery and follow-up for our most in-demand pre-sales offering-- you should be extremely comfortable and eager presenting to customers, as HOLs and bootcamps are highly interactive workshops
- Partner with Adobe pre-sales teams and customers to define key objectives for POCs and Custom Demos, align on solution design, scope and timing to drive compelling engagements
- Configure end-to-end use cases and guide teams in demonstrating technology value with Adobe Experience Cloud integrations in a fast-paced environment
- Confidently present to diverse audiences in highly interactive, customer-facing settings
What you need to succeed
- Experience with customer-centric datasets (i.e. Analytics, CRM, Call Center, Marketing, Offline, Point of Sale, etc.)
- Expertise in data collection strategy, audience building and reporting use cases using Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) and Real-Time CDP (RTCDP)
- 5+ years of Analytics experience (Adobe Analytics preferred)
- 3+ years in Identity Management experience
- 2+ years SQL experience
- Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and reporting technologies (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Unifi, SnapLogic)
- Experience working with APIs or an API testing framework such as Postman
- Experience defining and managing business requirements, structured analysis, process design, and use case documentation
- Self-starter that demonstrates outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to proactively manage multiple projects for a diverse customer base
- Superb communication skills and ability to understand and translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and execution plans
- Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field preferred

- Highly preferred:
- Experience in B2B industries and/or Marketo
- Omni-channel reporting experience
- AI & Agentic AI experience
- Experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)
- Strong oral, written and presentation skills with experience communicating to people at all levels and geographies
- Background in roles such as Technical Sales Consultant, Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect
- Experience in programming languages (e.g. Python, Java)
- Ability to deliver presentations that engage Sales teams and guide prospective customers toward successful outcomes
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $170,300 -- $280,300 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
