The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 is responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance. Acts as an Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGV) technician on all equipment that is installed at the Perry, GA, site location. Aids and mentors lower-level employees. This will be a rotating shift working 4 days on, 4days off; 7 am-7 pm OT and occasional weekend work may be required. We offer:

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $28 to $33.50 an hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

This role is perfect for an ambitious individual ready to take on the challenge of maintaining and troubleshooting Automatic Guided Vehicles (AGVs). What You Will Do In This Role
  • Perform repair and maintenance of AGVs, including sensor calibration, component adjustments/replacements, lubrication, and solving hydraulics issues.
  • Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures ensuring everything operates efficiently.
  • Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot and resolve issues in electrical circuitry ranging from 5V to 480V.
  • Build and close work orders in the asset management system, accurately recording labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
  • Tackle AGV problems with determination and identify the necessary resources to resolve them efficiently.
  • Locate and track spare parts from inventory, ensuring availability for maintenance tasks.
  • Complete complex maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet all specifications.
  • Assist in training customers to operate the equipment effectively.
  • Respond promptly to service calls, addressing equipment failures and faults as they arise.
  • Identify and solve problems in real-time, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
What We Are Looking For
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience required. An Associate's degree or vocational technical training is preferred, along with niche skill training/certification.
  • Demonstrates senior-level knowledge in technical or specialty areas.
  • Proven experience and successful demonstration of key tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong customer-facing skills with professional communication through email and in-person interactions with onsite customer leadership, Dematic leadership, and technicians.
  • Proven ability to lead projects, teams, and advise day-to-day operations and tasks for the onsite maintenance team.
  • Physical ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
  • Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.
  • Able to work in diverse conditions such as small spaces, dust, fumes, varying temperatures, noise, vibration, standing on concrete, and wet surfaces.
