We are seeking a Senior Level Additive Manufacturing (AM) Specialist to provide direct support to the US Army customer. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating aviation and missile system components for AM suitability. This will include assessing AM process/material/performance characteristics, developing machine set-up/operating procedures, and optimizing machine parameters. You will collaborate with the engineering and customer stakeholders to design for AM and take full advantage of the ability to consolidate parts, optimize structure, and reduce weight.

In the role, you will utilize strong written, communication, and presentation skills and work effectively in a team environment. You will apply design for additive manufacturing (DFAM) considerations/challenges and communicate them to multiple project stakeholders. Additionally, you will work with customer leadership to develop, define, implement AM capability expansion plans while staying up-to-date with the latest additive manufacturing technologies and exploring their potential applications.

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 10 years of combined experience in metallic and nonmetallic additive manufacturing
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and parts lists
• Expert knowledge of DFAM principles
• Proficiency in CAD and topology optimization software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Some travel (up to 25%)
• Must have an in-scope DoD Secret Clearance
