Clinical Advisory Consulting Manager

We're seeking an Advisory Consultant with a licensed clinical background (RN, LCSW, or similar) and expertise in EHR systems to guide our clients through successful technology adoption and optimization.

In this role, you'll serve as both a clinical leader and technology strategist-partnering with healthcare organizations in the human services and post-acute markets to improve workflows, meet regulatory standards, and enhance overall clinical satisfaction. You'll work across the full client lifecycle, from pre-sales and solution design to go-live and ongoing optimization, translating clinical needs into practical, effective technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Review responses as a part of bid submissions or requests for proposals (RFPs); contribute clinical, funding, and local workflow expertise, as applicable

  • Provide workflow and regulatory guidance during solution development and implementation

  • Learn Netsmart solutions and serve as a translator between our clients' current (omitted) and future-state work practices utilizing Netsmart solutions

  • Develop and apply knowledge of industry intelligence and trends relevant to specific audiences

  • Provide clinical guidance and support for the lifecycle of the client relationship, including the pre-sales process, clinically informed implementation, go-live, and maintenance, driving clinical success for Netsmart and our client partners

  • Coach others to clearly articulate and promote Netsmart's competitive advantages during client-facing solution discussions

  • Maintain an appropriate knowledge base for industries served to facilitate ongoing product development and product offerings to market

  • Maintain clinical executive relationships within the Public Sector client base

Qualifications
Required

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in nursing, psychology, Social Work, or another human services field

  • Working knowledge of state and county regulations, including a high familiarity with Behavioral Health standards and regulations

  • At least 3 years' experience working at an EHR Vendor or within the clinical informatics industry

  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills

Preferred

  • Recent experience in EHR Pre-Sales

  • Recent experience in EHR Consulting/Implementation

  • Strong background in executive-level public speaking, including but not limited to strategic planning and change management

Expectations

  • Position may at times require extended or irregular hours outside of traditional office hours to support clients and projects, and any required travel
