- Challenge contractor approaches and assumptions using training expertise to identify potential issues other team members cannot assess
- Ensure all technical manuals meet requirements of S1000D and MIL-STD-40051 standards and comply with military documentation standards
- Track TM development progress against established plans, identifying potential bottlenecks in production and developing means of recovery
Technical Resource and Knowledge Bridge:
- Serve as the internal technical authority on training systems and documentation standards, providing guidance to program management and engineering teams

Research and Data Collection Coordination:
- Facilitate research and data collection processes to gather information supporting development of technical manual materials
- Coordinate with engineering teams, subject matter experts, and operational personnel to collect accurate technical information
- Support system-level testing and verification efforts by documenting procedures, results, and lessons learned for inclusion in technical manuals
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams including software, hardware, and integration specialists to ensure comprehensive documentation coverage
Comprehensive Technical Writing Support:
- Provide technical writing support across all ASRR program areas including engineering documentation, operational procedures, maintenance manuals, and training materials
- Create and maintain detailed system documentation including integration procedures, test plans, operational manuals, and user guides
- Develop technical specifications, architecture documentation, and requirements documentation that support both engineering development and operational deployment
- Generate contract data requirements deliverables and ensure compliance with customer documentation requirements
Training Development and Integration:

- Coordinate training content development with operational requirements and actual system capabilities
- Support creation of training programs that address both technical operation and maintenance procedures
- Integrate technical manual content with hands-on training requirements and operational scenarios
Standards Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all technical documentation complies with military standards (MIL-STD, MIL-PRF), S1000D requirements, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) regulations
- Implement quality assurance processes for technical writing including review procedures, accuracy verification, and version control
- Coordinate documentation reviews with engineering teams and customer representatives to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Maintain documentation standards and style guides to ensure consistency across all technical writing deliverables
System Development and Documentation Support:
- Contribute to creation of system specifications, architecture, and requirements documentation for ISR systems, ensuring solutions meet operational needs
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to technical documentation accuracy, completeness, and compliance requirements
- Provide on-site technical support during deployment, fielding, and operational use of ISR systems by documenting procedures and creating user guides
- Participate in risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for documentation-related program risks
