Position Title: Coater Operator - 2nd or 3rd Shift
Wage: $27.61/hour Shift: 2nd or 3rd Hours: 3:00am - 11:00pm (Monday - Thursday) or 11:00pm - 7:00am (Sunday - Thursday) Are your skills not being fully utilized? Reach your maximum potential by working with QPS! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Coater Operator at a company in Rockford, IL. This is a direct hire position for 2nd or 3rd shift. Coater Operator Responsibilities: - Prepare and operate coating machine lines - Adhere to quality specifications - Inspect work for proper coverage and clean backs - Take reading with the spectrophotometer to verify color and document results - Wash coater for changeovers and proper Anilox roller maintenance - Assist the oven tender with all wash ups when possible - Adjust coating roller, which may include installing the proper Anilox roller - Check proper sheet passage through coater and into oven and wickets to prevent damage and apply a proper application - Adjust line speed and oven temperature to manufacturers or customer's specifications - Open incoming loads and perform an initial inspection of every load before proceeding - Unwrap load protected with paper and/or metal shrouds - Inspect for proper metal dimensions, surface condition, proper work order number and stores code before conveying load into the feeder for decoration Requirements for Coater Operator: - High School Diploma or GED - Able to differentiate colors effectively - Understanding of coating materials QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
