Position Title: Intake
Wage: $20.50 per hour Shift: Day Hours: 6:00am-6:00pm QPS Employment Group has a great Intake position available at a company in Juda, WI. This is a day shift role with the opportunity for hire. Intake Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Coordinate unloading of milk from trucks and transfer to proper storage unit(s) by following all company and regulatory procedures to ensure highest quality and safety of milk to go into production processes. Ensure prevention of expired milk by properly prioritizing and unloading trailers in the correct order. Ensure operation of CCP (critical control points). - Typically handles less than 15 loads per day. - Verify seals, wash tags, and weights from farm pick-up slips to ensure milk has not been tampered with. - Properly agitate, collect milk samples for quality testing, and for payments in accordance with regulatory standards. - Load out cream, whey and milk from storage areas for appropriate processing. Perform monitoring of equipment, temperatures, and sanitation to ensure milk quality. - Maintain inventory and order supplies (i.e. seals, filters) and starter to keep production running efficiently. - Operate, inspect, and troubleshoot intake equipment. Perform general maintenance as needed. - Perform general sanitation of tanker, silos, and other intake equipment to ensure milk safety. - Track data on testing, weights, producers, truck numbers, and grade A permits in compliance with government regulations. - Testing and analysis of milk samples for freshness, drug residue, bacteria, antibiotics, etc. - Maintain required records and produce required reports. - Complete all required documentation, recordkeeping, and reporting as required by law and/or regulatory agencies, (i.e. DNR, DOL, EEOC, FDA, IMS, OSHA, SQF, USDA, WDA, etc.). - Follow all SAFETY (food & workplace) policies and procedures. - All other duties and responsibilities as requested or required - Follow all company policies and procedures. - Follow government standards and regulations. - Provide back-up relief as needed. monroe@qpsemployment.com IND038 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
