    Location: Greenvale Park, Spring Creek, Bridgewater, Middle School

    Scheduled days/hours: Up to 2 hours/day. Mon-Thurs. between 3:30 pm- 5:00 pm

    Qualifications Required: Current MN Teaching license. Experience in creating and implementing curriculum for K-8 students in a school setting, as well as overseeing student behavior and outcomes. Ensuring activities for youth have opportunities for social connections and emotional learning, and reflection. Be an energetic, patient, and caring adult. Must be able to adapt to an ever-changing environment. Must be able to work independently and on a team.

    Pay Rate/Range: $40.00/hr. - Subject to change upon the settlement of the 25-27 Master Agreement.

    Compensation/Benefits/Perks: An employee earns one hour of sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked and can earn a maximum of 48 hours each year.

    Deadline: Open Until filled - EOE(8/7/2025) Employment is contingent upon completion of a background check.

    Job Summary:

    Join our dynamic and enthusiastic summer team to teach our academic curriculum focused on enhancing literacy skills and foundational math concepts to minimize learning loss. We integrate art, movement, and science into hands-on activities and projects, fostering real-life connections to the learning experience.

    Responsibilities:

    • Teaching at appropriate levels of difficulty.

    • Assessing student progress and determining the need for additional reinforcement or adjustments to instructional plans/techniques/goals.

    • Teaching specific learning objectives.

    • Employing various teaching techniques, methods, and principles of learning to best meet the needs of students and district learning outcomes.

    • Using appropriate instructional technology to enhance student learning.

    • Organizes classroom supplies and materials. Performs routine cleaning and housekeeping functions to maintain a proper learning environment.

    • Provides instructional leadership to other support staff within the classroom, involved in instructional support activities and functions.

    • Assigns activities, provides guidance, and instructional oversight.

    • Employs and implements a classroom structure and consistency to encourage student responsibility, cooperation, and mutual respect consistent with district policies and procedures.
