Overview

This position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract currently under bid.

Goldbelt Integrated Logistics Services (GbILS) provides four specific areas of expertise-Logistics Engineering, Measurement Sciences, Program Management, and Technical Support-serving the scientific, technical, and engineering needs of clients. GbILS values its innovative thinking and service-oriented team who provide services for a variety of federal government and commercial clients.

Summary:

The Aircraft Paint Site Lead will serve as the primary liaison between the contracting company and U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Government Paint Shop Supervisors and Work Leads. This individual is responsible for overseeing all contractor paint personnel and ensuring compliance with technical and safety requirements.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Coordinate with government personnel to conduct paint assessments and quarterly industrial hygiene assessments.

  • Ensure all contractor personnel complete mandatory safety training.

  • Maintain a safe and professional work environment at all times.

  • Review industrial time reporting for accuracy.

  • Serve as the point of contact for all contractor personnel matters.

  • Perform duties as outlined in the applicable Statement of Work (SOW).


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Experience coordinating with government personnel preferred.

  • Ability to oversee a team and ensure compliance with technical and safety requirements.

  • Must be eligible to work in environments where respiratory protection is required.
