Are you passionate about delivering excellent guest service and creating a strong team to carry out that mission? We are looking for an inspirational leader with Marriott experience to mentor and nurture our front office team. What you will be doing: You will lead our front office team (front desk/guest service agents, telephone operators, bell staff/van drivers). You will also serve as guest service champion for the entire hotel. You will balance the daily work of serving our guests with the equally important planning and organizing that goes on behind the scenes. You should enjoy the art of hosting so you can model this for your staff. If this sounds like fun and you are a self-starter who enjoys meeting and interacting with all kinds of people, we would love to talk to you! What you should bring to the table: Experience in building a team, including training, mentoring, coaching & counseling is essential. Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - will be important. Experience and skill in service recovery situations is key. You will also need strong organization and problem solving skills. You need to be computer savvy and understand property management systems. Prior Marriott (FS-PMS) experience is highly desired. Hotels are open 24/7. The person who is hired for this role will need to be available to work during peak periods as business demands. Weekends will be a normal part of your schedule. Bachelors of Hospitality and Resort Management (preferred)
High School (required) Experience
1 - 2 years: Marriott experience preferred. FS-PMS experience highly desired. (preferred)
