SUMMARY
The Department of Defense (DoD) Teleport system is a Satellite Communications (SATCOM) gateway that links the deployed warfighter to the sustaining base. It provides high-throughput, multi-band, and multi-media telecommunications services for deployed forces. The system provides centralized integration capabilities, contingency capacity, and the necessary interfaces to access the Defense Information System Network (DISN) in a seamless, interoperable, and economical manner.
This position is to provide test support for the Teleport communications system. This position involves all stages of the testing process from test planning, to providing data analysis posttest. This position will involve some travel to support test events.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The contractor will plan and execute test events both onsite and at temporary duty locations (TDY).

The contractor will analyze test data, prepare and produce test reports for the customer.
SUPERVISORY DUTIES
*
The contractor will provide updated financial reports as requested by the Project Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Certifications

SCRUM or other related certification
Education, Background, and Years of Experience

Masters degree in related field OR
*
Bachelors plus 6 years experience OR
*
Associates with 8 years experience
ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
*
Experience in Time Travel is not required but preferred
Required Skills

Proficient in: Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Skills

Experience with the Teleport system preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS
Environmental Conditions
*
Contractor on-site at JITC FHU, some with 0-15% travel for test events. Telework only when approved by COR.
Strength Demands
*
Light - 20 lbs. Maximum lifting with frequent lift/carry up to 10 lbs. A job is light if less lifting is involved but significant walking/standing is done or if done mostly sitting but requires push/pull on arm or leg controls.
