Join us as the Esports Team Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping a high-performing, dynamic team of student-athletes. Working alongside the Director of Esports, you'll be at the forefront of game-day strategy, player development, and team operations-fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and competitive success. The Esports Team Manager will collaborate closely with the Head Coach to develop and implement practice plans that enhance both individual skills and overall team coordination. Responsibilities include scheduling and overseeing regular practices, scrimmages, and review sessions, while also managing registration for tournaments and competitions. The manager will maintain current knowledge of game updates and competitive trends, provide mentorship and performance feedback to players, and foster a team culture grounded in sportsmanship, work ethic, and a growth mindset. Additional duties include coordinating all official matches and scrimmages, managing communications with opposing teams and tournament officials, and maintaining accurate records of attendance, results, and statistics. In partnership with the Director of Esports, the manager will assist in recruiting efforts, support player retention, and contribute to a strong team identity through internal communication and public-facing platforms such as social media. The position also requires promoting team highlights and achievements, ensuring compliance with eligibility standards, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and professional environment. Disciplinary issues, when necessary, will be addressed in coordination with the Director of Esports. A high school diploma is required for this position, along with a deep understanding of the game at a competitive level, whether through collegiate, semi-professional, or professional experience. Prior experience coaching or competing at a high level is highly desirable and will be considered a strong asset in supporting the development and success of the esports program.
