Overview of the Role:
As a Senior Analyst on the REWS Data Insights team you will be part of a dynamic, distributed team building and supporting the strategy and operational needs of our real estate organization and Salesforce employees. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization using data to identify opportunities to improve our performance, monitor our services, propose solutions, and influence our strategy. You will champion using data in our day-to-day operations to improve our operational efficiency. You will work in a the Chicago or Indianapolis office an average of 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:
Tableau Development & Product Management

  • Build for Insight: Design, develop, and maintain visually compelling and interactive Tableau dashboards that are not just reports, but intuitive products that answer key business questions.
  • Own the Product Vision: Act as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for your business stakeholders. Go beyond fulfilling requests to deeply understand their objectives and challenges.
  • Develop and Manage the Roadmap: Define, manage, and communicate a strategic analytics product roadmap that aligns with key business priorities. Proactively build the business case for new dashboards, tools, and data enhancements. Move the team from a reactive backlog queue to a proactive, roadmap-driven function.
  • Lead the Product Lifecycle: Shepherd analytics projects from initial discovery and requirements gathering through to development, launch, and post-launch iteration, ensuring solutions meet and exceed stakeholder expectations.
  • Optimize for Experience: Ensure the accuracy, performance, and usability of all data products, creating a seamless and reliable experience for your users.

Data Proficiency

  • Create and implement complex calculations using Level of Detail (LOD) expressions, table calculations, and parameters to unlock deeper, actionable insights and enable advanced analysis.
  • Utilize advanced SQL to query, analyze, and manipulate large datasets to extract meaningful insights
  • Leverage a deep understanding of the team's data models and data lineage
  • Collaborate with analytics engineers to optimize data models and troubleshoot data quality issues
  • Perform data validation and auditing to maintain high standards for all analytical work

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years experience as a data analyst or related role
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
  • Proficient in Analytic SQL
  • Expert with Tableau Desktop
  • Strong comprehension of data modeling concepts
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in a consulting role
  • Experience with CRM Analytics, dbt (data build tool), Snowflake, and Salesforce
  • Familiarity with real estate, facilities, workplace services, or enterprise technology is a plus

For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $107,700 to $148,100.
