JOB DESCRIPTION
EMPLOYER: Delta Dental Insurance Company TITLE: Senior Data Architect Location: 1130 Sanctuary Parkway, Alpharetta, GA 30009; Telecommuting permissible from any location within US Salary Range: $172,000/yr - $196,500/yr Job Description: Design, develop, and implement data solutions to support business processes and requirements. Collaborate with Business Analysts, the Data Architecture Group, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translating them into robust data models. Hands-on experience implementing MDM features using the TIBCO EBX tool. Skilled in designing and implementing workflows, user access, and roles within TIBCO EBX. 5. Proven experience delivering end-to-end master data solutions with TIBCO EBX. Design and create data models with ERWIN and build workflows and user interfaces in TIBCO EBX for managing reference and master data. Extensive experience in designing and building comprehensive data processing platforms utilizing popular technologies and cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, Matillion, Power BI, Cloud APIs, and TIBCO Data Virtualization. Expertise in data warehouse and data lake solutions, with the ability to evaluate and select optimal options for data ingestion, storage, reporting, visualization, analytics, microservices, and APIs to meet organizational needs. Understand business needs and quickly develop prototype solutions for review by business and architecture teams. Implement data governance and quality control measures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout the data lifecycle. Play a key role in implementing the reference and master data strategic roadmap, guiding cross-functional teams, and collaborating with senior management. Define, develop, launch, and drive critical business initiatives. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues to minimize disruption across systems. Implement data integration and ETL processes to ensure seamless data flow between systems. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT). Document technical designs, solution designs, and processes, and obtain approval from architecture teams for the data solutions. Conduct data profiling, analysis, and data mining to identify patterns, trends, and insights in large datasets. Stay current with the latest features, best practices, and industry trends. Participate in data architecture discussions, providing input on data architecture and integration strategies. Mentor and guide junior engineers, supporting their professional development. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Information systems, data science, Information technology, mathematics and equivalent, or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the related role or job offered. Base Pay Information The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications.
