*Description*
Responsibilities: - Ensures the retention of material and supplies for future use and in support of production and/or engineering. - Responsible for the accountability and accuracy of physical records. - Provides transportation of material and correspondence within the local business environment. - Maintains functional records in support of internal and external audits to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. - Manages develops or conducts delivery in accordance with established local business policies procedures and public law. - Ensures accuracy of delivery information. - Ensures: finished goods inventories non-proprietary government property inventory transportation import/export requirements and customer returns in conjunction with business area personnel. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in supply chain management Logistics Business Administration or a related field. - Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in supply chain management or a similar role. - Professional certification such as APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional CSCP or CSCA. - Experience with supply chain management software e.g. SAP Oracle MS Dynamics. - Proven experience in a supply chain role preferably in the same industry. - Strong analytical skills the ability to interpret complex data understanding of supply chain principles and best practices. - Experience with data analysis tools and techniques. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. - Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. - Knowledge of industry- specific regulations and compliance requirements. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel. - Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications: - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong decision-making skills and the ability to resolve issues effectively. - Knowledge of logistics transportation and inventory management. - Proven ability to negotiate contracts and maintain strong supplier relationships. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
