Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Specialist to provide technical support across both corporate and manufacturing environments. This role supports users ranging from operations staff to executive leadership, ensuring seamless technology experiences and rapid issue resolution. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to service delivery.
Key Responsibilities: * Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting end-users in both office and production settings. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to: * Networking and connectivity * Security and access controls * Hardware (desktops, laptops, peripherals) * Software applications and Windows OS * Audio/Visual systems and telecom equipment * Manage and document incidents and service requests using ServiceNow, ensuring accurate and timely resolution tracking. * Communicate effectively with users at all levels of the organization, providing clear updates and technical guidance. * Collaborate with IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues. * Maintain and update technical documentation and support procedures. * Support onboarding/offboarding processes including device setup and user access provisioning. Required Skills & Qualifications: * Proven experience in desktop support within both corporate and manufacturing environments. * Strong troubleshooting skills across networking, security, hardware, software, AV, and telecom systems. * Proficiency in Windows OS and enterprise software tools. * Excellent verbal, written, and digital communication skills. * Experience with ITSM platforms, preferably ServiceNow. * Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple incidents simultaneously. * Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving mindset. Preferred Qualifications: * Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications. * Experience supporting production floor technologies and industrial IT systems. * Familiarity with remote support tools and mobile device management. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
