This is an onsite/hybrid role with a client that is located in WIXOM, MI. Must be willing to go onsite for this job! Job Description * The Coordinator supports the Transportation department responsible for contracting over the road service * The primary function of this role is to support the department with its administrative functions such as Freight Audit and shipment vouchering using a Transportation Management System (TMS) in conjunction with JDE and manual spreadsheets. * This role also supports the Transportation Supervisor, and will work regularly with HIP Businesses' Service Group and the IS department, as well as with transport carriers to ensure that payments are processed in a timely manner and anomalies are addressed. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES May include, but are not limited to, the following: Project based and tasks, based on timeline. MS Teams meetings. Data analysis. All around Logistics. Arranging transportation. Understands freight rates, negotiations, audit and pay process. Using a transportation management system. MUST Help on Project documents, project task (TBD), related to transportation. Phone, email, carriers - it is a fast day! Manage transportation freight expenses to minimize the administrative processes related to audit and approval of carrier invoices. Work Environment Hours: 8:30-5:30pm. (if hour lunch or 30 min). Later down the line, 7-9am flexible start time Overtime: no weekends. During the week Skills Coordinator, logistics, ERP, Excel, Word, PowerPoint Qualifications Must Haves: 1. Understand transportation and logistics as whole! 2. Ideally 2+ years experience 3. ERP system experience 4. MS products - Teams, Word, intermediate Excel (creating formulas), PowerPoint small presentations. 5. Take initiative, be motivated. Dependable, reliable, this is remote work. 6. Multi-tasking is key! #priorityeast Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
