Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Fire Service Technician to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Performing service calls on new and existing systems
  • Service, Program, Test, and Inspect Fire Alarm Systems.
  • Ensure equipment is functional and operational.
  • Diagnose causes of problems or failures in systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and systems repair.
  • Replace system components as assigned; panels, audible/visual alarms, etc.
  • Provide technical support to Customers including, remote phone diagnosis, and troubleshooting of signal issues related to formats and receivers.


Basic Qualifications:



  • High School diploma or equivalent, plus two (2) years of technical school, electronics training or equivalent military training
  • 2 + years working in the electronic field where AC/DC theory is used on a daily basis
  • 2 + years working networking of computers, operating MS Office, and Windows XP, (or equivalent).
  • 2 Years of Technical school, electronics training or equivalent military training
  • Should have knowledge of the products that Pavion uses.
  • Proper hand and power tool operations and safety
  • Ability to read blue prints and schematics
  • Must be familiar with analog/digital multi-meter
  • Ability to wire and troubleshoot relay logic
  • Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Ability to finish any type of projects
  • Ability to organize workload for effective implementation
  • Ability to write correspondence and present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Strong customer communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures
  • Ability to function as an effective team member
  • Ability to adapt as schedules change


Preferred Qualifications:


  • DMP,Bosch experience preferred
  • EST knowledge a plus.
