Position Summary:

As our EHS & Facilities Coordinator, you will lead the facilities operations covering multiple sites in Orange, CA. The role has direct oversight of facilities vendors, suppliers, and contractors. Additionally, the role will develop health and safety procedures for all areas of the company.

Qualifications & Requirements:



  • High School or GED required
  • 3+ years of experience in Facilities Management and processes, negotiating and contracting of external services, project management, facility operations and building maintenance
  • 2 years experience in Environmental Health & Safety
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills and follow-up skills
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written
  • Knowledge of applicable state/federal laws, regulations, nationally recognized standards, and guidelines, as related to specialized environmental health and safety functions of the position
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to utilize time and resources effectively and efficiently
  • Sense of urgency; ability to take action quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to complete tasks on time with high quality


  • Strong background in incident investigations, such as 5-Why, etc.

  • Ensure sites are operated and maintained in an efficient manner
  • Proactively ensure all site operational support needs are met, including the hosting of large meetings and events
  • Manage all facilities and environmental operating permits and performance of all related actions including any recording and reporting
  • Manage all site supplies, services, and amenities including the associated vendors and contractors
  • Manage all aspects of preventive maintenance
  • Manage performance of all support vendors and contractors covering areas such as janitorial, landscaping, HVAC, electrical, painting, furniture, hoists, powered industrial trucks, conveyors, etc



Safety



  • Implement and monitor OSHA regulations and Company safety policies and procedures
  • Comply with current health and safety regulations with the objective of ensuring that all reasonable and proper measures are taken to protect the safety and health of employees and visitors
  • Conduct necessary safety audits and training of employees
  • Coordinate registration and disposal of hazardous waste materials
  • Investigate and report all injuries, accidents, incidents involving employees and visitors
  • Report and respond to orders issued by inspectors from environmental, health, and safety agencies
  • Assists all executives, managers, and supervisors in emergencies preparedness
  • Responsible for routine and preventative site maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, organizing, minor repairs, machine maintenance, safety inspections and compliance
  • Submits required data, records and completes permits in relation to CERS
  • Conducts routine inspection of fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, first aid kits, exit signs, lights, AED units and other safety related equipment
  • Maintains safety related documents such as safety trainings, building maps, evacuation plans, and other related documents
  • Responsible for weekly SOAR card reports to General Manager & Safety Team
  • Weekly safety topics for the Tier 1 meetings
  • Conducts surveys and drafts reports of all such surveys concerning environmentally related issues
  • Other duties as assigned

Pay Transparency:

Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $38.00/hour - $45.00/hour. The exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
