Together, our baked goods can be found in a wide range of establishments, from fast food and quick-service restaurants to cafeterias, hospitals, grocery stores and universities to name a few.

As the Human Resources Assistant, you will be an integral part of our people-first HR Department and serve as a go-to point person for our corporate workforce and leadership. You'll play a key role in shaping our HR team from the ground up, contributing to building a supportive, engaging, and fun workplace culture.

In this role you will:



  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the corporate HR department, prepare reports, conduct audits, and actively support special projects.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and support HR initiatives and projects.
  • Develop and standardize job descriptions and related HR documents, creating, auditing and maintaining a centralized library to ensure consistency and clarity across the organization.
  • Create Talent Acquisition templates, post jobs, schedule interviews and find innovative ways to source and attract the most qualified, targeted talent.
  • Audit and ensure job posting standardization across all requisitions in UKG.
  • Keep corporate onboarding running like clockwork - initiate the process, oversee timelines, tasks, and communication to create a seamless, standout experience for both hiring managers and new hires.
  • Assist with updating and distributing open enrollment guides, support employees by answering questions during the enrollment period, and track acknowledgments and confirmations related to benefits materials.
  • Processes and tracks FMLA and ADA related claims for assigned areas and assists with ongoing FMLA/ADA training of managers.


Qualifications:



  • 1+ years' experience providing support in an operations or administrative role.
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Intermediate+ proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Energy and passion to foster collaboration and drive shared success within a team-centered environment.
  • Not afraid to ask questions and dive in to learn and grow in Human Resources.
  • Willingness to support a variety of administrative and learning-related tasks.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Reliable, deadline-driven, and known for getting things done.


A Plus:



  • Exposure to Human Resources.
  • Experience with SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of HRIS (ATS) platforms.
