Description As the Production Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily management and oversight of production processes and personnel. You will ensure that personnel are performing duties according to sound operating principles and that all production activities comply with company policies and procedures. With a focus on safety, quality, and integrity, you will ensure the production team meets established performance goals and maintains proficiency in processes and resources. 3rd Shift: 11:00pm - 7:00am, Sunday - Thursday The Production Shift Supervisor must successfully collaborate with various departments within the organization to achieve high level goals. For example, collaboration with Engineering, Maintenance, Logistics, Quality and Planning departments to ensure safety, quality and performance standards are met. You will also collaborate with HR to adequately hire, staff and schedule production employees. The ideal candidate will be able to look at the big picture of our production processes to study operations and identify areas of improvement to meet cost standards, while maintaining close supervision of employees and practices during daily production tasks. This position requires strong personal leadership and communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving and time management. A high school diploma or equivalent plus some college or mechanical/tech training are preferred, in addition to two or more years of supervisory experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
