Auria is looking to hire a Cyber Engineer (Group Policy) to support the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program. This role is ONSITE in Colorado Springs, CO.
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, to see the battle develop collectively, and to dynamically manage designated networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC is the force multiplier that globally and regionally networks integrate, synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations to optimize performance. This program is integral to all system ground and flight tests, which verify and exercise all current and future missile defense system capabilities.
This position fulfills a Cyber Engineering technical role in support of the Lockheed Martin Rotary Mission Systems (RMS) Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
- Develop and test patches to fix vulnerabilities in Software, Hardware, and Firmware
- Focus on vulnerability management, including analysis and remediation of:
- IAVMs
- Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs)
- Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs)
- Vendor Patches
- STIG configurations
- Installation and configuration of Linux from the operating system to the application level
- Documentation and verification of all installation and configuration procedures for the labs
- Develop test plans and procedures for software integration and unit testing
- Collaborate with software developers and/or vendors as necessary to diagnose and identify the root causes of issues encountered during system integration
- Submit problem reports for errors found according to Agile processes and coordinate daily integration activities with other Agile Release Trains (ARTs)
- Responsible for developing and implementing Cyber Releases in the National Team labs, C2BMC Test Facility, and Operations
- Installing and testing Cyber Products units
- Providing redlines to engineers and feedback to Cyber Leadership will be part of this position's responsibilities
- Documenting lessons learned, best security engineering practices, and industry standards will be required as daily tasks as well
WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES: Please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume if applicable.

- Current/active in-scope DoD issued SECRET security clearance
- 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline
- or a Master's degree and 3 years of experience,
- or a PhD and 1 years of experience,
- or 9 years of related experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
- A current DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.) is required to start
- Experience in writing and deploying GPOs using Advanced Group Policy Management (AGPM)
- Thorough understanding of GPOs for efficient access control management, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and strengthening overall network security
- Technical troubleshooting of COTS software applications, analyzing system vulnerabilities and mission impacts, and implementing risk mitigation to attain system authorization
- User experience in configuring and patching Windows systems using Group Policy Objects (GPO)
- Hands-on experience scripting, installing, and testing GPOs on Windows hosts throughout Active Directory domains
WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:
- Experience executing Agile tasks across a System Development Lifecycle
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard cybersecurity tools such as:
- Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP)
- NESSUS
- Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
- Demonstrated experience analyzing and implementing NIST SP 800-53 Security Controls as part of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) implementation across multiple phases of mission-critical systems
PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $105,000 - $115,000
