Auria is looking to hire a System Administrator to support the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program. This role is ONSITE in Colorado Springs, CO.
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, to see the battle develop collectively, and to dynamically manage designated networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC is the force multiplier that globally and regionally networks integrate, synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations to optimize performance. This program is integral to all system ground and flight tests, which verify and exercise all current and future missile defense system capabilities.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
- This position is responsible for supporting the overall daily operations and management of the MS Windows-based enterprise environment, which includes:
- Active Directory
- Database Servers
- Application Servers
- Web Servers
- License Servers
- DHCP and DNS
- NAS and SAN
- Certificate Authorities and Certificate Management
- Backup Systems
- Security updates and patches are current
- Active Directory Replication
- Creating, managing, maintaining, and deleting group policies
- Adding, maintaining, and deleting user accounts
- Creating, maintaining, and deleting security groups and distribution lists
- Configuring desktops and servers to meet security requirements
- Creating and maintaining server configuration documentation
- Creating and maintaining Windows Sys Admin processes and procedures
- Backing up and restoring, as necessary, all network data
- Ensuring disaster recovery processes and procedures are accurate and current and are complied with
- Off-site backup media storage management
- Monitoring server capacity, such as:
- Managing and maintaining servers, including performance tuning
- Installing, managing, and maintaining server-based applications such as:
- Secret Server
- DOORS
- Solarwinds
- System Architect
- SQL Server and Axway OCSP Validation Authority and Desktop Validator
- Managing and maintaining enterprise storage, including SAN and NAS SECONDARY FUNCTIONS
- Assist with security audits
- Assist with user desktop support
- Assist with desktop moves, adds, and changes
- Assist with hardware asset management
- Assist with creating and maintaining helpdesk processes and procedures
- Assist with managing and maintaining network switches and routers
- Assist with managing and maintaining firewalls
- Assist with maintaining network printers
- Other duties as assigned by the IT manager
- Technical skills supporting a varied and diverse environment, including server setup, hardening, deployment, and maintenance
WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES: Please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume if applicable.

- Current/active in-scope DoD issued SECRET security clearance
- 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline
- or a Master's degree and 3 years of experience,
- or a PhD and 1 years of experience,
- or 9 years of related experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
- A current DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.) is required to start
- Required skills:
- Windows system administration
- PowerShell scripting
- Domain/Active Directory administration
- Backup and Recovery administration
- Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
- Multi-Factor Authentication implementation like PKI, ADFS, VMware ESXI, QAS/VAS
WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:
- Experience administering virtualization platforms, specifically including VMware vSphere (vCenter, ESXi, and vSAN), is a plus
- Knowledge of Git, Nexus, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence
- Understand the concept of PaaS and SaaS
- Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery and their application to IT and IT products
PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $105,000 - $115,000
