Keep reading to learn more. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 2 years of MIG/TIG welding experience. Grinding, press, and forklift experience preferred. Welding certification is required. Key Responsibilities Weld and fabricate components using steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and jet-kote materials. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to plan and execute welding projects. Determine welding techniques, calculate requirements, and prepare materials for fabrication. Perform first-part inspections and verify weld quality before full production runs. Ensure welds meet cosmetic and structural standards, with minimal warping. Operate and maintain welding equipment, including performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting breakdowns. Insert and press hardware (studs, PEM nuts, etc.) as needed for assembly. Optimize production efficiency while fabricating custom enclosures and small parts. Maintain compliance with all safety procedures and company policies. Sustain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation using 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
