Position Summary:

The Renewals Account Manager (RAM) is responsible for renewing a complex and diverse portfolio of subscription and SaaS renewals for an assigned territory. The SRAM works directly with sales teams, resellers and customers. The individual must be a self-starter, pro-active and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. This position will report to the Renewals Director for the assigned region.

What You'll Do



  • Manage quarterly and annual renewal portfolio for assigned territory
  • Maximize renewal value, ensure on-time renewals and mitigate cancellations
  • Work closely with sales team to maximize Annual Recurring Revenue and Net Retention
  • Build/send complex quotes and proposals for customers at least 90 days in advance
  • Track quotes, phone calls and emails in Salesforce.com with high degree of accuracy and detail
  • Handle complex customer objections and negotiate renewal contracts independently as required
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as order management, finance, legal and AR
  • Provide highly accurate weekly/monthly/quarterly forecast of renewals pipeline
  • Uncover leads, cross-sell and upsell sales opportunities using value-based selling techniques to articulate value to customers
  • Trusted advisor to customers and partners consistently establishing value beyond the renewal interaction
  • Consistent contributor to team on special projects and promotions
  • May assist as Subject Matter Expert and mentor to new hires and junior RAMs



Minimum Qualifications:




  • Minimum four years renewals sales experience with a software company


  • 4 year degree in Business or equivalent experience

  • Proven time management skills in a dynamic sales environment



  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with C-Level contacts



  • Strong organizational skills with ability to handle various tasks; attention to detail



  • Must be able to work well with others as part of a broader team cross-functionally




USA: $60,900 to $77,760 plus commissions
In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
