Summary


The Training Coordinator is responsible for leading in development, standardization, and tracking of employee training in their respective site. Working with Management, Leadership, Continuous Improvement and Human Resources the Training Coordinator will play an integral role in establishing proper training for current and new employees.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Identify all current existing Standard of Work documentation for all roles in Operations.
  • Complete standardized training using a flexible timeframe to match each individual's learning pace while ensuring training progress is achieved, and to accomplish all training in a safe and effective manner.
  • Responsible for the coordination of training and onboarding new temporary employees as well as operator associate training.
  • Align appropriate trainers to trainees, including those individuals whose primary language is not English.
  • Work with Operations and Human Resource Leadership to translate trainings from English to Spanish.
  • Responsible for updating, maintaining, and implementing to appropriate trainers, training documentation with input from Operations leadership.
  • Create standards for training "signed-off" of all Plant Operator positions/equipment.
  • Works directly with Team Leaders and Supervisors to coordinate training activities however the coordinator does not direct their assignments.
  • The training coordinator meets regularly with the Operations Manager and Human Resources to assist with training requirements to meet business needs.
  • Guides all trainees in safe, quality work.
  • Function as a Plant Operator/floater when training duties are not needed and perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Assist the management and lead in forming Dunmore's mission in Coordinate

Requirements

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:



  • Excellent verbal & interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in group
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively resolve conflicts in mature & consistent manner
  • Good computer skills; ideally with MS Office Suite
  • Ability to be flexible with the work schedule including the ability to work all shifts as needed.



Education and Experience



  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ideal candidate will have at least three (3) years of manufacturing experience; ideally within Dunmore manufacturing operations
  • Supervisory experience preferred




Physical Demands - OFFICE / TRAVEL




  • Standing/Sitting: 80/20%
  • Walking/Bending/Stooping: 50/30/20 %
  • Lifting Requirements: 50 pounds
  • Travel by air, rail, auto (% of time): <5%
  • Work in manufacturing area, QA lab and office areas
  • Exposures - Odors, Fumes, Noise, Chemicals, Temperature, Vision strain, Moving
