Job Description

MISSION:The Quality Engineer is a responsible for the development and execution of NuWaves' processes, ensuring customer deliverables meet rigorous performance and regulatory standards, The Quality Engineer works closely with design engineers, production, project managers, and our suppliers to drive results, investigate issues, and uphold standards of excellence. The Quality Engineer will be responsibile for supporting project teams in documentation, research, and reporting related to compliance and quality performance. Must have quality experience in RF, microwave, or complex electronic assembly environments.

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND YEAR 1 METRICS:



  • Within 30 days, achieve a baseline understanding of NuWaves' product and project requirements, Quality Management System, and current and future state initiatives.
  • Within 60 days, be able to lead Corrective Action, Nonconforming Material, and Return Material investigations independently.
  • Within 3 months, be able to produce First Article Inspection Reports in compliance to AS9102.
  • Within 6 months, be able to manage documentation control throughout NuWaves' processes to ensure compliance to internal and external requirements.
  • Within 6 months, be able to perform internal quality audits and supplier quality audits to AS9100D.
  • Within 6 months, be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams on design reviews, process validation, and risk assessments (PFMEA, control plans, etc.)


Typical Education and Experience: 2-5 years of work experience in a quality role in RF, Microwave, or complex assembly environment.

Salary: $70K - $100K annually
