Your Opportunity

This full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Maintenance Manager in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. This role will oversee all maintenance activities at the Richland manufacturing facility, a nuclear site licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). You will be responsible for employee performance and development and assisting with strategic planning for the manufacturing facility. Your work will include:



  • Managing craft supervisors and support personnel who perform plant modifications and maintenance work
  • Managing a staff od approximately 70 employees which include exempt, non-exempt, and bargaining unit personnel
  • Managing performance of preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance for the Richland manufacturing facility which operates on a 24/7 basis
  • Managing the spare parts program including physical inventory
  • Managing the plant equipment reliability program, including reliability engineering, to achieve equipment availability targets
  • Implementing best practices and knowledge management for all maintenance activities
  • Working closely with Plant Operations, Safety, and Quality groups to plan, prioritize, and schedule project and maintenance work activities to meet manufacturing and regulatory requirements
  • Building project resource load boards for staffing optimization
  • Responsibility for directing and scheduling all maintenance activities
  • Optimizing workloads and validating the demands for process improvements
  • Defining the required level of skills and implementing hiring and development initiatives to ensure the department reaches the required level of performance and skills necessary to carry out company objectives

Framatome's Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $123,000 - $167,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
