Entry-Level Telecommunications Technician - Large Data Center Project Gallatin, TN (Greater Nashville Area) 6-Month Contract with Potential Extension Competitive Pay + Full Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k) TEKsystems Inc. is looking for motivated individuals ready to start or grow a career in low voltage and telecommunications. No prior experience is required-just a strong work ethic and a experience in construction or new builds. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on training and long-term career potential while working on a major data center project in Gallatin, TN. What You'll Be Doing * Assist with installing and maintaining telecommunications systems and cabling. * Learn to troubleshoot basic network issues and perform routine inspections. * Support the setup of telecom devices and systems under the guidance of experienced technicians. * Work as part of a team to ensure smooth network operations in a secure, high-performance environment. * Help maintain records of equipment and service activities. * Follow safety protocols and industry standards. What We're Looking For * No experience needed-we'll train you! * Experience in construction, new builds, or similar hands-on work is a plus. * Interest in learning low-voltage systems like: * Cat5/Cat6 cabling * Punchdowns * VoIP and PBX systems * Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented. * Able to work independently and as part of a team. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply-we value diverse communication skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
