Position Description We are seeking a Manager, Alternatives Investor Servicing, to join the Alternatives Investor Servicing team. Our team is responsible for servicing a $50B+ and growing alternatives fund platform. We assist in the launch of new hedge funds, private equity funds, and private placements, including some of the most sophisticated products in the industry. Our team has daily interactions with investors, collaborates with internal stakeholders, and assists with oversight of alternative fund administrators. Location New York, NY Responsibilities The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Collaborate with sales, client-facing, tax, product strategy, legal, accounting, and fund administration teams globally on all aspects of client onboarding, including side letter negotiations, fund launches, and co-invest related activities, delivering extraordinary client service Support technology transformation and automation initiatives to scale team functions, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the investor experience Negotiate contracts with potential vendors for new business products Serve as a contact for U.S. domiciled broker-dealers, assisting with inquiries from home offices and/or financial advisors, and provide ad hoc/quarterly reporting to their operations centers Oversee and handle escalations for the email inquiry queue, managing daily investor and internal information requests Deliver accurate and timely work products in coordination with team members Assist with the review of all outgoing Alternatives investor correspondence Oversee investor cash flow reporting to support portfolio management teams Oversee team coordination and maintenance of fund document repositories (Private Placement Memorandums, Limited Partnership Agreements, subscription agreements, etc.) Build strong and mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers Continually develop functional skills, striving to learn new techniques and apply them to roles Identify opportunities to bring efficiencies into existing processes through ongoing process improvement and implementation of new technology solutions Encourage a positive work environment and culture for all employees
Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor's degree 5-8 years of experience in private equity or hedge fund administration at a notable fund administrator or asset manager required In-depth knowledge of private equity or hedge fund mechanics, including fund lifecycle functions Experience handling high-volume investment operations inquiries, resolving investor operational issues, managing investor onboarding, and addressing related questions Experience with private funds focused on real estate and special situations required; experience with global macro is highly desirable Risk and control minded to support ongoing oversight of third-party fund administrators Experience providing oversight and leadership to a managed service provider, including establishing SLAs and other related responsibilities

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
Salary Range: $ 130,000.00 - $ 168,000.00
