IT Vendor & Contract Lead


Job Summary

The IT Vendor and Contracts Lead is responsible for managing and overseeing IT vendor and service provider contracts and relationships with the vendors and service providers to ensure alignment with the organization's goals and compliance requirements. This role involves reviewing, negotiating, drafting, and monitoring contracts, as well as building strong partnerships with vendors to optimize services and cost-effectiveness.


Essential Functions
(Key Duties/Responsibilities/Accountabilities)

  • Manage vendor's contract performance and compliance, including service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and service providers.
  • Review and manage IT vendor contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Manage changes to IT Vendors.
  • Address and resolve any vendor-related issues or disputes.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with vendor contracts and relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including procurement, legal, finance, and operations teams, to ensure seamless contract execution and deliver IT vendor value.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams on vendor-related matters.
  • Analyze vendor spend and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field OR equivalent work experience as determined by HR
  • 5 years' experience in IT, project management, or analytics
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with review of vendor, service provider, or IT contracts.

  • Ability to read, hear, speak, keyboard, reason, communicate effectively and problem solve
  • Requires prolonged sitting and telephone usage
  • Requires the use of office equipment such as computer terminals, telephones, copiers, and printers

Below is the salary range for potential new hires.

Salary Range: The pay range for this position is $59,937.84 - $98,582.59 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
