Job Details

Supporting the US Pharmaceutical and Animal Health Finance Center of Excellence team, this role is focused on financial management of operating expenses and initiatives. This is matrixed position that will work closely with other Cencora finance teams such as IT US PAH segment finance teams, and US PAH commercial organization, and other relevant Enterprise teams throughout the organization. This role will lead and facilitate growth of a team of analysts.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for producing and presenting consolidated operating expense reporting for the US PAH business unit for the purpose of monthly, quarterly and annual reviews. Specifically OpEx and CapEx.

  • Interacts in matrixed environment with various stakeholders to gather market based and internal assumptions for accurate forecasting during annual plan, LRP and monthly estimate cycles

  • Supports commercial team through ad hoc requests related to expense management including business cases, or labor management exercises

  • Manages and develops junior team members / direct reports to facilitate career growth and promote talent retention

  • Oversees internal finance processes to create efficiencies and continually engage process improvements. Also focuses on creating consistency upon methodology used across the segment teams

  • Develop tracking process for initiatives for commercial business partners including operating expense initiatives and business case ROI

  • Communicates performance against budget and initiatives on quarterly basis

  • Interacts and partners with business segments teams to gather and compile data needed to conduct analyses, identify trends and/or address senior management requests.

  • Creates and presents training documentation for new associates and the broader Finance group as required

  • Performs related duties as assigned

  • Adapts processes to growth and changes within the broader business

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance, or other related field

  • Minimum of ten (10) years in Accounting/Finance-related fields including exposure to modeling and FP&A concepts and at least five (5) years at a manager level.

  • MBA, CPA, or graduate level degree preferred but not required

Skills and Knowledge

  • Knowledge of various financial management areas such as financial statement analysis, plan development, productivity, and profitability analysis

  • Focus on providing information accurately and timely

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Strong mathematical, organizational, and analytical skills, as well as strong attention to detail

  • Strong leadership skills, and prior experience leading high performing teams

  • Ability to follow and interpret profit and loss statements

  • Comfortable working under tight timelines and pressure

  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Smartview / Hyperion

  • Preferred knowledge of PowerBI, Databricks, SQL, and BI Reporting Tools
