Definition:

As a Shuttle Driver, you'll safely operate resort shuttles while delivering outstanding guest service. You'll assist with transportation around the property and occasionally in the local area, providing helpful information and recommendations. This role works closely with valet and bell staff, offering support as needed. A strong knowledge of the resort layout, amenities, and guest services is essential.

General Duties:



  • Driving associates to their appropriate destinations in a safe and professional manner
  • Maintain cleanliness of all fleet vehicles, including interior and exterior to HSBR Standards
  • Access, input and retrieve information from department computer system
  • Coordinate, track, and respond quickly to all transportation requests
  • Maintain professional composure in high stress situations in order to make last minute changes
  • Maintain a constant awareness of resort amenity schedules and promotions
  • Must have flexible schedule and be willing to work beyond scheduled hours if necessary
  • Multi-tasking skills, accomplishing tasks while being aware of guest needs


Employment standards:



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Clean driving record for a 5-year period
  • No citations for a 3-year period
  • No felony convictions
  • Complete knowledge of all state driving laws
  • Pass pre-employment background and drug testing
  • Exceptional communication skills, detail oriented, and ability to learn in an ever-changing work environment
  • Pleasant personality
  • Neat in appearance and well groomed
  • Maintain proper associate uniform standards, including black pants
  • Always follow all Resort rules and policies


Physical & Mental Requirements:



  • Must be able to run or move quickly to provide prompt service
  • Must be able to sit, walk, and stand for majority of work schedule
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with the public.
  • Must be able to communicate and disseminate information accurately.
  • Must be able to speak, comprehend reading materials and write English.
  • Must be able to interact with co-workers and have a sense of TEAM.
