Project Engineer

Hill International is seeking a Project Engineer to join our onsite CM team who is constructing a large industrial facility at Sparrows Point in Baltimore, Maryland

• Assist in defining project scope, schedule, and budget, developing detailed implementation plans, and ensuring thorough documentation and communication to meet project objectives on time and within budget
• Assist in serving as a point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating effective communication, arranging and participating in meetings, documenting decisions and stakeholder concerns
• Administer Quality Assurance process, and support contractor's quality control protocols
• Prepare and maintain critical project documentation, including generation of reports
• Support coordination with key stakeholders and help ensure submission and quality of deliverables; monitor project progress and identify potential issues
• Administer submittals, RFIs, and potential change orders
• Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager and/or client staff

• Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience
• Four-year college degree is preferred in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
• On-site experience with large civil infrastructure type projects
• Industry credentials preferred
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with standard office software and construction management tools
• Experience with commercial or industrial construction projects is a plus
• Must work full-time on-site in Baltimore, MD
