APP - Electrophysiology (EP) / Heart Rhythm Center (HRC) - ACUTE training - IP/OP

NORTON HEART & VASCULAR INSTITUTE, a part of Norton Healthcare located in Louisville, Kentucky, is recruiting an acute trained APRN or PA-C to join it's electrophysiology (EP) team which consists of 8 (eight) physiciansand six (6) advanced practice providers.

It offers comprehensive cardiovascular care, including specialized programs for electrophysiology, structural heart disease, advanced cardiac imaging, cardio-obstetrics and advanced heart failure, including mechanical circulatory support and cardiac rehabilitation.

About the Position:

• Position includes inpatient (IP) rounding and outpatient (OP) clinic
• Competitive salary model including production bonus above the base salary, relocation reimbursement, continuing medical education funds (CME), signing bonus and more

• The Heart Rhythm Center (HRC) is located in the St. Matthews area of Louisville, KY right off the local expressway
• Will cover inpatient (IP) at Norton Healthcare hospitals located less than 15 minutes apart; scheduled efficiently as to avoid multiple hours of driving

The Advance Practice Provider provides healthcare to patients with an emphasis on disease prevention, health promotion, health maintenance, and supportive care. This includes, but is not limited to, diagnosing, prescribing treatment, managing/evaluating patient care and functioning as an educator, healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant and patient advocate.

Required:

• Bachelor Degree
• One of: Acute Care APRN, PA or PA-C
• Must have 2 (two) years minimum APP cardiology experience
• APRN must be acute trained
