The Clinical Quality Improvement Nurse is responsible for the day-to-day performance improvement oversight of the care of pediatric trauma and/or pediatric burn patients across the continuum of care. The coordinator ensures compliance with applicable state, national, and accreditation PI standards, including trauma center and/or burn center verification requirements.

This role works collaboratively with the Pediatric Trauma Medical Director and/or Pediatric Burn Medical Director, Program Manager(s), nursing leadership, and the multidisciplinary teams that support injured and burn-injured children.



Shift: Day Shift / 40 hours per week



Who Should Apply:



  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from an accredited school of nursing, Masters preferred

  • Registered Nurse Licensure in the State of Maryland


  • Advanced certification as CPEN, ABLS, ATCN, TNCC preferred, required withing 2 years of employment
  • Requires at least 5 years nursing experience in trauma/burn nursing experience preferred
  • 1 year of pediatric experience required
  • Evidence of project management experience with multidisciplinary groups

Salary Range: Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
