DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop, update and distribute technical documents underpinning maintenance tasks
* Create and control daily, weekly and long-range aircraft maintenance schedules
* Produce workload forecasts that balance manpower, parts and hangar capacity
* Optimize resource allocation to meet cost targets and on-time performance goals
* Monitor schedule adherence and forecast accuracy; identify variances and implement corrective actions
* Collaborate with maintenance, operations, supply chain and finance to align planning outputs
* Prepare analytical reports and presentations for senior leadership on forecasting and schedule effectiveness
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Lead, coach and develop planning analysts and schedulers
* Assign priorities, establish objectives and monitor team progress against deliverables
* Conduct performance reviews, identify skill gaps and coordinate training programs
* Enforce compliance with company policies, safety regulations and planning standards
* Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting precision and efficiency
REQUIREMENTS:
* High School Diploma/GED
* Basic management training
* Four (4) years of aircraft maintenance experience, preferably including phase checks and block overhauls, with an in-depth knowledge of the schedules and unscheduled maintenance requirements of aircraft systems, engines and components in airline operation
* Proficiency with Microsoft office
PREFERRED SKILLS:
* Associate's Degree in Aviation Technology
* Six (6) years' experience in the Production Control discipline with emphasis on manpower forecasting, planning, work control and aircraft scheduling
* Demonstrated good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work well with others at all levels and in other departments
* Operating knowledge of MXI
* A&P License
* Three (3) years of supervisory experience
