Recruiter: Josselyn Suarez / Josselyn.suarez@airliquide.com/ (562) 723-8133 CALL/TEXT The Inside Sales Outlook/VMI Technician position sells medical, industrial, specialty gases, welding equipment, hard goods and tools to customers. In addition, this role is responsible for deliveries or services of key vending account customers and customer cabinets / storerooms relative to inventory of gases, consumables and safety products. This position responds to inquiries or concerns from either walk-in or call in customers. The VMI portion of this position focuses on servicing existing accounts throughout an assigned territory. Additionally, this position does basic troubleshooting and mechanical repairs as needed. Administration (FDA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR). Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections documenting deficiencies and ensures all safety items are in good working order. Ensures all safety rules are strictly observed & any accidents or injuries are promptly reported to management. Operates a pallet jack, forklift & other warehouse equipment. Works in warehouse or on dock as needed. ________________________ Are you a MATCH? Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of previous product, warehouse and/or sales related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Excellent customer service skills. Strong problem-solver, with a high level of attention to detail. Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds within Airgas and outside the Company. Preferred Qualifications: Strong background in gas, welding and safety supply industry with retail experience preferred. SAP experience strongly preferred. Prior welding experience preferred such as knowledge in MIG, TIG, and STICK WELDING preferred.
