About the Role: This relationship-based outside sales position is for a high-achieving, goal-oriented, and service-minded individual who will work directly with interior designers, architects, decorators and commercial buyers through networking, cold outreach, and industry events within the NY Metro Area - supporting project needs. Key Responsibilities: * Provide expertise on product options and customization to meet client requirements. * Maintain long-term relationships and deliver exceptional customer service experience. * Work collaboratively with senior Retail Leadership and in house Design Teams. Job Requirements 3+ years' experience in a trade account management or business development role in design, furnishings or related field. Showing history of building sales from trade accounts and hitting ambitious sales goals. Detail oriented, organized and familiar with project management workflows. Interior design education or experience is a bonus to understanding and succeeding in this role. Retail experience a plus. This role is base salary plus commission and monthly bonus opportunity. Education and Experience: Compensation: We offer a highly competitive base salary for the Trade Sales Furniture Account Manager position in New York City, typically ranging from $70,000 to $130,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated sales performance. This range reflects the higher cost of living in New York City and aligns with local industry benchmarks for similar roles. The position is also eligible for performance-based monthly commissions and growth bonuses to reward your success in developing client relationships and driving sales.
