Instructional Designer

Your main responsibilities

Consultant/Advisor:
1. Determine student education needs and alignment to global/local requirements
2. Evaluate program learning objectives and effectiveness
3. Evaluate and support teaching methods and strategies
4. Measure assessment approaches, results, and qualify actions
5. Troubleshoot tooling, systems, and resources, providing advice and support to stakeholders


Creator:
1. Storyboard and blueprint education programs
2. Develop curricula material, teaching plans and programs
3. Oversee and develop media resources such as SharePoint
4. Assemble content and material packages for programs and initiatives
5. Testing and evaluation of educational products and services


Administrator:
1. Prepare solutions, support partners, and administrate SuccessFactors learning management system back end
2. Organize and provide development updates (status reports, data tables, etc.) and deliverable notifications to internal and external customers
3. Chair internal/external social and instructional communications/publications
4. Coordinate partner learning assignment and certification milestones across the organization
5. Create and maintain educational tooling and documentation to support students and staff


Solution manager:
1. Capture user feedback and prioritize development/delivery to meet learner needs
2. Actively work with various stakeholders to identify areas with the strongest ROI on training delivery efforts (ie: efficiency/MTBC/Quality)
3. Develop and manage project milestones to deliver on time, budget compliant solutions
4. Manage internal and external partner expectations, performance, and quality
5. Align and coordinate facilty and resource schedules to maximize results


Brand ambassador:
1. Build relationships with business line/department subject matter experts through development of solutions that satisfy objectives and drive business results
2. Lead best practice development and support franchise unity amongst partners and facilities
3. Innovate and develop methods and systems that support and exceed initiative goals
4. Explore and introduce new technologies that differentiate our approach and results
5. Lead by example as a lifelong learner and supporter of growth in confidence and skill through education

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Education / Arts / Business / Technology
  • Master of Education (M.Ed.) preferred
  • Expert knowledge and well versed in learning styles and adult education methods to reach all students, while continuously evaluating their needs and proficiencies
  • Hands-on experience in educational program development, delivery, and curricula design, with an excellent understanding of the underlining concepts and strong demonstrated capabilities to promote rich learning programs
  • Proficient in leadership situations and communication through a full range of available analytics. S/he must organize clear, concise, and confident arguments in both informative and decision-making scenarios. Must have excellent written and creative abstract capabilities
  • Experience in evaluating future technologies, student learning desires and evolving market demands. Sh/e must actively research and lead integrating and developing innovative solutions that connect with current and lead future educational impact opportunities
  • Capable and adept at recognizing, respecting a promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace. Through direct actions and teamwork, sh/e must respect and conduct him/herself in an inclusive manor, incorporating same in workplace actions, solutions, and strategies
