Senior Enterprise Systems Engineer Washington, DC Pay From: $120,000 per year MUST: Sr. Systems Engineer 10+ years systems level engineering experience 10+ years demonstrated experience managing, maintaining, and securing enterprise authentication and authorization technologies Programming/scripting languages for enterprise systems management Configuration Management and Automation tools Enterprise networking and communications technologies Demonstrated experience deploying, configuring, and monitoring network infrastructure equipment and analysis tools CCNA, CCNP, MCSE or MS related certifications desirable Degree desirable DUTIES: Responsible for enterprise authentication and authorization technologies, such as CentrifyLDAP, Kerberos, SAML, and Active Directory. Provisioning and zero-trust technologies such as Okta, AWS Systems Manager, and Azure ARC a plus. Supporting enterprise systems, including, X Windows Servers, X Linux Servers,X Hadoop/Cloudera Supporting middleware application servers Programming/Scripting languages for enterprise systems management, such as Bash, Python, and Powershell. Experience with Kubernetes technologies (and advanced deployment technologies) such Configuration Management and Automation tools, including but not limited to Ansible, SCCM, and Cisco DNA/ACI. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies such as Terraform a plus. Ability to support Cisco Routed and Switched Networking and Cisco Wireless Networking, LAN/WAN architecture and networking protocols such as BGP and OSPF. Data Center networking technologies, including Cisco Nexus and VXLANs Network management tools, such as SolarWinds and Cisco Catalyst Center Enterprise and data center security, managing next- generation firewalls, proxy, and identity-based platforms such as Cisco ISE. Cisco Voice/Telephony technologies, including CUCM, Cisco Unity, Cisco Webex Calling, Cisco CUBE, Cisco IP handsets, analog gateways, and secure telephony endpoints such as vIPer and TSG phones Audio and Video Conference Room technologies and Web Collaboration Technologies such as Microsoft Teams, Experience in designing, deploying, and migrating secure and maintainable systems for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments. DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containers, and related best practices for cloud deployment. Service offerings in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
