MUST:
Network Administrator (Sr.)
Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility (will sit for CI Poly)
5+ years of hands-on experience in network administration within enterprise or government environments
Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, STP, VLANs)
Experience with firewall configuration and rule management (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, etc) highly preferred
Strong proficiency in VPN technologies, remote access solutions, and site-to-site connectivity
Familiarity with federal cybersecurity frameworks and Standards (STIG's, NIST 800-53, FISMA, FedRAMP, Zero Trust) Experience with virtualized environments (Hyper-V, VMware, etc) highly preferred
Networking certification highly desired
4 year degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
DUTIES:
Design, implement, and manage enterprise-wide network infrastructure to support secure FBI operations
Administer and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs across multiple secure environments
Monitor network performance, capacity, and availability; proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime
Perform advanced troubleshooting of LAN, WAN, and cloud-connected networks; serve as Tier III escalation point
Implement and enforce network security controls in alignment with FBI and federal cybersecurity standards
Provide mentoring, guidance, and knowledge transfer to junior network administrators
Coordinate with vendors and contractors to evaluate, procure, and implement networking technologies
Stay current on emerging network technologies and recommend solutions to strengthen FBI infrastructure
