We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to support the Army Materiel Command's (AMC) Organic Industrial Base (OIB) modernization efforts. You will leverage your expertise in program scheduling to drive the successful execution of vital projects. You will be at the forefront of improving program planning and execution, working collaboratively with diverse teams to ensure mission success. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with production and manufacturing leads, Integrated Product Teams, and key program stakeholders. You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining comprehensive schedules that underpin the modernization of critical defense capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and related schedule artifacts, ensuring compliance with industry standards like EVM-748 and best practices.
  • Implement practices to align resource planning with the IMS, establishing a robust technical, schedule, and resource/cost baseline.
  • Develop "what-if" scenarios within the schedule to provide valuable insights for program leadership decision-making.
  • Provide expert scheduling support to programs, proactively identifying and facilitating solutions for schedule-related issues.
  • Develop scheduling artifacts to meet project requirements.
  • Track, analyze, and report schedule performance against baselines, proactively ensuring the achievement of contractual, cost, and schedule objectives.
  • Provide comprehensive scheduling support for internal and external audits and reviews, facilitating the application of necessary corrective actions.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Program Managers, Contracts personnel, Senior Technical Personnel, and other organizations.

Required:

  • BS or BA degree
  • 8 years of progressive experience in program scheduling
  • Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Microsoft Project for all aspects of schedule development and management.
  • A comprehensive understanding of scheduling theory, including practical experience with:
    • Schedule status processes and reporting.
    • Schedule health assessment techniques (e.g., 14-Point Analysis).
    • Resource loading and management principles.
    • Baseline change control processes.
    • Key schedule execution metrics (BEI, CEI, CPLI, SV, SPI, etc.).
    • Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA) and experience with Monte Carlo Analysis tools.
    • Critical Path Method (CPM) and Margin/Float management techniques.
  • Must have an in-scope DoD Secret security clearance
