Overview:
Agile Defense is seeking a
Relationship Manager
to support a federal client's private sector engagement and academia initiative. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for a defined group of partners, helping bridge the federal law enforcement community, U.S. critical infrastructure, and private sector organizations. You will play a critical role in strengthening partner relationships, facilitating information sharing, and supporting mission objectives through clear communication, stakeholder mapping, and business process development.
As part of a collaborative and mission-focused team, you will provide responsive support to stakeholders, develop actionable insights from partner feedback, and craft recommendations to improve processes, policies, and tools. This position offers the opportunity to shape outreach initiatives, contribute to private sector campaigns, and deliver products that advance stakeholder engagement across federal and private sector communities.
Responsibilities / duties:
Stakeholder Engagement
* Act as the primary point of contact for a defined group of partners.
* Provide knowledgeable service, directing questions and concerns to appropriate points of contact.
* Anticipate potential risks or impacts and work with management to address or mitigate issues.
* Represent the voice of the partner group with internal and external stakeholders.
Process Development & Analysis
* Develop and implement business processes related to membership, vetting, partner identification, and communication flows.
* Analyze partner feedback gathered through surveys and recommend improvements to processes, policies, and tools.
* Translate external data into actionable reports, including use of Excel formulas, data visualization, and PowerBI dashboards.
Product & Deliverable Support
* Collaborate with other units to draft materials, presentations, and products.
* Deliver key reports and communications that map stakeholder connections and support implementation of engagement plans.
* Support private sector campaign proposals and related outreach activities.
Required qualifications:
Background/Experience
* Bachelor's Degree and six (6) years of relevant professional experience.
* Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint).
* Experience providing customer service to external stakeholders in a government or private sector context.
Key Traits
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present detailed analysis and recommendations clearly to diverse audiences.
* Strong collaboration skills, with experience working in team environments and group sessions.
* Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with PowerBI.
* Experience in project planning, coordination, and execution.
