Job Family Quality Discipline Quality Assurance Career Level P2 Salary Range $62,900 - $88,000 Note for Salary This is the range within which SRNS expects the majority of qualified candidates would enter this role if offered. Actual offers may be more or less than the amounts shown depending on candidate's qualifications, experience, internal equity, and other factors. Discipline Description Quality Assurance personnel develop policies, procedures, and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations. They ensure products, services, or processes meet established quality standards and customer requirements. They develop, assure, and maintain the quality of products and processes, including standard procedures, and quality audits/reviews. Some Typical Duties & Responsibilities Include: As a Weapon Quality Program Engineer, you will participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of processes, procedures, and applications that contribute to sustaining an effective Weapon Quality Management System (WQMS). You will be responsible for developing and maintaining weapon quality documents to ensure they adhere to required standards and guidelines. In this role, you will serve as a point of contact for NAP401.1A and DPBPS requirements. Leveraging extensive experience in successfully leading and engaging people, you will utilize strong interpersonal skills to facilitate communication, collaborate effectively, and build consensus among stakeholders. You will possess advanced knowledge and experience with key quality documents and standards such as NNSA Weapon Quality Policy NAP 401.1A and SD 452.3-1A Defense Programs Business Process System. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in relevant field plus at least two years of experience (YOE) in a relevant role, OR Master's degree in relevant field We'd Also Like to See Practical knowledge of the NNSA Weapon Quality Policy NAP 401.1A and SD 452.3-1A Defense Programs Business Process System. Security Clearance Information SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug & alcohol test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
