Tessera is seeking a skilled and reliable Locksmith to support secure, efficient operations across campus. In this role, you'll install, repair, and maintain a variety of locking systems - from safes and vaults to electronic access controls and master key setups. You'll respond to service calls, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure facility safety through expert craftsmanship and attention to detail. Your work keeps everything running smoothly - and it truly matters here. Typical duties include but are not limited to:
- Process purchase requests and create accurate purchase orders
- Manage inventory levels and maintain procurement documentation
- Interact with suppliers to resolve issues and gather critical information (invoices, tracking, tax documents)
- Resolve discrepancies in pricing and terms to ensure smooth order processing
- Conduct supplier selection and bidding processes, validating contract pricing
- Manage Tessera and government property using Maximo and Workday systems
- Coordinate property adjustments and ensure accuracy of all transactions
- Provide technical support for requisition, storage, and disposal of supplies and equipment
- Maintain maintenance records for all assets and support DCMA PCARS and E-Tools reporting
- Scan and archive property documents; post monthly and annual inventory results
- Generate workload data reports and support compliance with inventory requirements
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in commercial, institutional, or government locksmithing, including installation, maintenance, and repair of locks, door hardware, and access control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and keying schedules.
- Skilled in master key systems, lock rekeying, and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic locking devices.
- Familiarity with security protocols and procedures in military or high-security environments.
- Certified Registered Locksmith (CRL) - Entry-level certification from ALOA (Associated Locksmiths of America).
- Certified Professional Locksmith (CPL) or Certified Master Locksmith (CML) - Advanced ALOA certifications for experienced professionals.
- Certified Facility Locksmith - Offered by the National Locksmith Institute, tailored for institutional and government settings.
- GSA Certified Safe and Vault Technician - Required for working on GSA-approved containers and vaults in federal facilities.

Requirements:
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance for this postion.
