As Benefits Manager NORAM, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience for colleagues across the U.S. and Canada. In this role, you'll partner closely with HR, vendors, and business leaders to ensure Clariant provides benefits that are meaningful, competitive, and fully compliant.

Responsibilities



  • You will coordinate day-to-day benefits administration with our HR Services Hub, ensuring a seamless employee experience.
  • Act as the primary liaison with external benefits vendors, driving accountability and service excellence.
  • You'll lead the annual benefits enrollment process, including communications that make complex choices clear, engaging, and accessible to diverse audiences.
  • Monitor benefits utilization data, identify trends, and make recommendations that balance value, cost, and employee satisfaction.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local benefits regulations, including audits and reporting requirements.
  • You'll evaluate program competitiveness by benchmarking against industry standards and best practices.
  • Manage wellness initiatives across the region, measuring their effectiveness and aligning them to employee needs.
  • Drive specific regional Total Rewards projects from design through implementation, using exceptional problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset to overcome challenges.
  • Partner with leaders to develop communication strategies that make benefits programs easy to understand and foster employee engagement.
  • Work independently and take ownership of projects while collaborating effectively across HR, Finance, and business teams to achieve shared outcomes.
  • Research emerging benefits and total rewards trends to anticipate future needs and opportunities.



Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in Benefits with exposure to Compensation; project management experience preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of benefits design, funding mechanisms, and administration
  • Proficient knowledge of laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Advanced skills in developing clear and engaging communication strategies
  • Ability to translate complex benefits concepts to diverse audiences
  • Self-directed, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
