Our New Haven, CT based Environmental group is looking for an Environmental Engineer or Scientist Intern to work on site investigation projects. Our internship program is a 12-week paid summer program. We offer in-depth work experience on local projects in a supportive and collaborative environment. The position is full-time Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and permits Conduct environmental site assessments and inspections Support the preparation of environmental reports and documentation Collect and analyze environmental samples (e.g., soil, water, air) Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIA) and risk analyses Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate environmental considerations into project designs Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Pursuing a degree in environmental engineering, geology, hydrology, or related field 3.0 GPA or higher 40 hour HAZWOPER certification Proficiency with MS Office programs Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment Experience with AutoCAD is a plus This is a hybrid role, offering the best of both worlds-collaborate in-office with a high-performing team and enjoy the flexibility of working remotely part of the week.
