Job Title - Internship - International Abroad Location -Various International Locations What You Will Do SUMMARY Caddell's internship program offers the opportunity for students to apply academic knowledge, develop hands-on skills, and explore construction career pathways. This program is ideal for students pursuing Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field, with a desire to pursue a Project Manager, Estimator or Superintendent career path. Who? Students who have completed two years in a construction-related degree field at an accredited university and are a U.S. citizen who are able to obtain a security clearance What?A paid international internship including sponsorship for requiredsecurity clearance, housing & travel provided, and per diem. When?Spring Semester, Summer Break, or Fall Semester - with the option to combine. Where?One of Caddell's international jobsites Gain unique experience that will benefit your entire career, including: Hands-on experience in the field on a large scale self-perform construction project Participation in the complete range of construction activities Side-by-side learning with project leadership "Boots on the ground and tool in hand" work with the trades Working inside and outside on an active jobsite Multilingual, multicultural teams Personal coaching from an intern champion who cares about you and your career Leaders who listen Coworkers who care Working Conditions - Construction setting, travel required, full-time. Must have the ability to crawl, climb, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, crouch, stand for long periods, lift and hold in excess of 50lbs, talk, hear and occasionally sit. Must have the ability to withstand confined spaces and or/extreme heights while negotiating tasks at hand in a safe manner to themselves and/or others. Subject to hot, cold, humid and wet conditions depending on location. Requirements Pursuing college or university accredited degree program; recommended majors include and not limited to Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or other related field of study, and at minimum two (2) years of completed education, and/or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident. Travel may be required, access to reliable transportation required. Must attend 2-day Orientation at Corporate Headquarters in Montgomery, AL.
